As a content creator, artist, teacher and avid social media user I’m lucky that I’m able to share so much of my work with other people around the world, each day I’m able to post what I’ve created and interact with other artists and people through various platforms. What I appreciate though, almost even more than sharing my own work, is seeing the work of other talented people from all over the world. I really believe in the power of community and always try to share work that I appreciate so that other people can enjoy the hard work and vision of talented artists.
Each year I make a post where I share 5 artists that I really admire and who’s work really stood out for me in the last year. I hope you go and follow them all and enjoy their unique view of the world!
1. Alexandria from AlexandriasLens
Where to start with Alexandria’s work? It’s probably my favourite on Instagram right now. Her consistent use of calming and beautifully rich colours is always an inspiration for me. She’s able to create images that are clean and simple in concept but executed with so much detail and beauty and she’s a real life wizard. Her Harry Potter inspired images of course go right into my favourite images and I always look forward to her next post, plus she’s one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet on the ‘gram.

2. Stefan Kunz
I met Stefan last year while at Adobe Max in Las Vegas. I’d already been a fan of his incredible lettering work but after meeting him I started to really spend more time looking at his portfolio and his incredible talent. Not only is he a talented lettering artist but he is a constant source of motivation and inspiration in his posts, his teaching and his work ethic. His images online frequently include uplifting and inspiring quotes and messages that certainly make scrolling through Instagram a much more peaceful and beautiful thing to do. You should definitely follow him and if you’re interested in learning to hand letter (which I definitely am) go and purchase his lessons, grids, and brushes.

3. Thomas Miles
Kristey is one of my amazingly talented Mentoring students and I first came across her beautiful work when she applied for the program. I was totally blown away not only by her talent and skill in photography and editing but also in her writing and her ability to really pull you in through both together. Her work continues to amaze me, it’s powerful and it’s intense and it’s so beautifully created. I know you’re going to enjoy her work as much as I do.

4. Fer Siciliano
I’ve been following Fer’s work for a few years but this year in November we were finally able to meet in Argentina. Fer not only helped me translate my workshop and speeches but also made sure that I had anything I needed and we quickly became friends. He reminds me a lot of myself and his work is absolutely a beautiful reflection of his life and his interpretation of how he experiences life. He is someone who works really hard to share his ideas and his process and I look forward to seeing more of it in the new year.

5. Vanessa Rivera from The_Life_of_Aivax
Vanessa’s incredible work is some of my absolute favourite. Her kids are the focus on her images and their adventures through life are so beautifully presented in the creative and clever images she creates. I love watching her behind the scenes stories as well as they really show the personalities of her family. I love how Vanessa’s imagery shares the whimsy, beauty and imagination of their life together. I know you’ll fall in love with them too.
